Hoppin' Betty

When you have a beer with Richard Emerson, it often leads to another one. In fact, it led to this one. A couple of well-known tourists were innocently hoppin’ around the country in their caravan, Betty, when they ran into our founder in Middlemarch. The next day, they found themselves in the brewhouse Emerson’s, crafting this New Zealand pale ale – under some supervision. Made with Rakau and NZ Chinook hops, it’s quintessentially piney and spicy, balanced with subtle tropical, fruity notes. Cheers Betty, old girl. This can wouldn’t be here without you.
