The official competition is being judged at Smiths Craft Beer House in Queenstown on the same day. However, your choice of Southern IPA beer in Emerson's Taproom will count as a vote towards the People’s Choice Award, announced at 7:30pm! Try one or try them all but come & join us for a brew! The Emerson’s brewery is some 19,410 km from Dublin. We might just be the furthest brewery on the planet, from Ireland. But even we go to great lengths to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, and this year we are even celebrating the occasion one day early…like a practice run. The Moth Light Cabaret presents two combos, Swingbridge and Wild Cards Aotearoa. Swingbridge is the musical vehicle for Ōtepoti musicians: guitarist and singer Bridget Ellis, double bassist Matt Sanson and saxophonist Chris Meech. Wild Cards Aotearoa are David Eggleton, the former New Zealand Poet Laureate, and Richard Wallis, a guitarist and soundscape composer.
