Pilsner

A Kiwi classic, Emerson’s Pilsner beautifully showcases Nelson grown Riwaka hops. It's overt fruitiness oozes citrus and passionfruit aromas and flavours, and begs comparison with Marlborough’s world-beating Sauvignon Blancs. The beer’s palate shows a hint of early malt sweetness but develops a lengthy dry finish. So not a bad drop then. Matches well with most seafood dishes, usually ingredients that bridge the beer with the dish are lemon, lime & herbs. 

The original New Zealand-style pilsner was first brewed nearly 20 years ago when Richard Emerson was looking for a Kiwi take on a European classic, so he added New Zealand hops to his pilsner and changed the face of Kiwi brewing. Zesty, spritzy, delicately perfumed drop.
