Emerson’s launches Bright IPA for Dunedin’s 2028 total solar eclipse

Ōtepoti's Emerson’s Brewery has launched Sunblock, a Bright IPA marking the total solar eclipse that will cross Dunedin on Saturday 22 July 2028. Brewed with Eclipse hops (the universe basically named this one for us), Sunblock delivers a sweet mandarin, zesty citrus, and subtle pine finish. The eclipse will be the first visible from Dunedin since 1163; the beer has arrived considerably earlier.
